The Observation Method. 2016

The Norland Museum in Bodo has its own lawned area surrounded by trees. The museum is dedicated to local ethnography and history. The sculpture, assembled from children's school desks from the 60s and 70s, can also be considered ethnographic in the type of material used. The desks, like the textbooks of those times, have long since migrated to the trash. Time mercilessly overvalues values. So the books that used to lie on the desks now prop up the table and disappear into the ground under the weight of the slab that is cast on top of the desks.
